The listing lifecycle
Listings can move through several states before they become visible to tenants.
Draft
A draft is a listing you have started but have not submitted for review. You can keep editing it until it is ready.
Draft listings are useful when you still need better photos, clearer pricing, location details, or availability information.
Submitted or pending review
After you submit a listing, it enters review. PropatyHub may check quality, accuracy, safety signals, media, pricing clarity, and whether the listing follows platform rules.
Submission does not guarantee approval.
Changes requested
`Changes requested` means the listing is not ready yet, but it may be fixable.
Common reasons include:
- unclear or missing location details
- weak or missing photos
- unclear pricing or availability
- description does not explain the property well enough
- media or video issue
- information that needs verification or correction
Read the review reason, fix the issue, then resubmit the listing from the editor. Do not resubmit without making the requested changes.
Approved or live
An approved or live listing is visible where its status, market, and platform rules allow it to appear.
Keep live listings accurate. If availability, price, photos, or property details change, update the listing.
Rejected
Rejected means the listing cannot move forward in its current form. The reason may relate to quality, accuracy, policy, duplication, or trust concerns.
If you think a rejection is incorrect, contact support with the listing title and the review reason. Approval is still not guaranteed.
Archived or removed
Some listings may be archived, removed, paused, or made inactive when they are no longer suitable for active review or public discovery.
If a listing is no longer available, remove or pause it rather than leaving stale inventory visible.
What admins check
Review can include:
- listing completeness
- title and description quality
- price and payment period clarity
- location clarity
- image quality and relevance
- demo or training status
- policy and safety concerns
Payment, subscription status, or listing credits do not replace review or quality rules.
